WELCOME HOME NATIVE OMAHANS Maxayn Lewis Maxayn is an American born vocalist. Her career began at the end of the 1960's when she was part of the Ikettes.   In the 1970's Maxayn performed in a band named after her and later married Andre Lewis. The group morphed to Mandre and Maxayn Lewis excelled at backing vocals, songwriting and playing instruments.
